In the shadowy dim light of room, Mel reached a trembling hand down, down into the coffin, and slipped the tiny shoes from the body of his two-year old son. With shoes in hand, he quickly made his way out of the parlor, down to the nearest saloon, and slapped the little shoes down on the counter and said, “Give me a drink! I’m dying for a drink!”

We were lucky to have a sermon delivered today that mentioned the spiritual impact Mel Trotter had on one of our congregants, Mildred Koning, whom Mel baptized in Lake Michigan when she was seven. This led me to discover these wonderful pocasts, Ronnie. God bless you.
