On January 16, 2017, Moody Radio Station (WMBW 88.9 Chattannoga, TN) had me on to talk about the impact of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and how churches can try to reach across racial divides and lead in racial reconciliation instead of lag. I also spoke about the Moravian Missionary Johann Leonhard Dober. He, quite possibly, was the first missionary of the modern era and who surrendered to go to St. Thomas Island in the Caribbean to reach plantations slaves. In doing so, he was willing to become a slave to reach them with the gospel. I released the episode about Dober and the Moravian’s later that day. Once again was a privilege to be asked to go on air. The audio from the interview is below. I want to give a special thanks to the afternoon radio host at Moody Radio in Chattanooga Paul Martin for having me on.
