The term poetic justice is a literary construct that is defined as the moment in the plot where virtue is ultimately rewarded and vice punished. Although we rarely see such scenes of poetic justice in life, we know that in the end God will make every wrong right in the day of judgment. Yet there are a few instances, where poetic justice is not reserved for some far off day before the throne of God; but is played out right before our eyes. Such was the case with the godly woman of Chipping Sodbury, England.
